James leaves us to cherish memories with his children Joseph Avon and Jamie Jackson of Des Moines IA, siblings JoAnna (Edward) Settles, Romayne (Claudia) Jackson, Kirby, Kevin, Lynn Jackson, and Alisha Coleman of Lincoln, NE, Anna Maey Jackson-Morris (Michael), Velda Scott, (Cousin Brothers) Floyd Perry and James Brown, and close friend Mary. James had 8 grandchildren, and great grands, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children Lori Avon Jackson, mother and stepfather Robert and Edna Coleman, Father James Jackson, godparents James and Shirley Brown, siblings Carol Richardson, Kevin Jackson, Staci Jackson, along with Rodney Perry, Denise Brown, and Damita McGruder.
