David Tucker

August 16, 1967 - January 30, 2026

David Tucker was born in Springfield, Illinois, and moved to Nebraska with his family in 1994.

He began working at Kawasaki, where he built lasting friendships and found a strong support system that felt like family. David loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed four-wheeling and jet skiing with those closest to him. A dedicated Cowboys fan, he proudly showed his team spirit through his hats and shirts. Above all, he cherished time with his wife, children, and grandchildren and was known for his positive outlook on life.

He is also survived by his children by marriage, Brandi Dittmer (children Irie Pacheco and Elida Alaniz), Jenna Dittmer (children Laynea McPherson, Ayanah McPherson, Seriah Bazzar, and SaMarah Coliers), his son Patrick Maestas (child Jaziah Maestas), and his son Raymond Maestas.

David is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Mariella and Eliano Artiaga and Arayiah Echols; Silo Worthon; his brothers, Jim and Bob Tucker; and his sister, Nancy Briggs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Kathy Tucker; his former wife, Kathy Tucker; their son, DJ Tucker; and his grandsons, Emilio Artiaga and Romari Austin.

I remember when my dad took me to go fishing at the lake in Airpark when I was younger. We brought Taylon with us, but he didn’t have the patience to sit and wait for a fish to bite, so you told him to drink his root-beer and eat his snack and go play. You would have to show me a few times how to throw the fishing line into the water but once I got it, me and you would sit and wait for a fish to bite. You got a few fish, but I didn’t get any, you said maybe next time you will.

My dad ❀️ there are so many memories that I could share, One I remember one day me and my sisters were walking home and I slipped a good 5 or 6 blocks from home, and my dad ran all the way to me and carried me all the way home, over the years I jokingly say he really must have loved me, because if you knew my dad you knew he absolutely hated the cold 🀣 Another is just his willingness to always come through for his girls, if we needed him, he would be there no matter what. He was and will always be one of the most amazing men I have ever known, his love for my mom shown so strongly through to us girls and we just never had to wonder or worry about anything!! I would love to hear any memories you have ❀️

When I first came into Bob’s life,we lived close to David and his family.. I remember how the girls would play together and from the beginning they made me feel like a part of the family. David is one of the most loyal, humble and gentle souls I know. He will be missed greatly. I for one will always remember him fondly and though miles apart I love you all and always knew we were loved by you all as well!
