Charlotte Jane Bourne

March 25, 1941 - December 21, 2022

Charlotte Jane Bourne, 81, of Lincoln passed away December 21, 2022, from Alzheimer’s. Born March 25, 1941, in Sycamore, IL to William and Alberta (Leybold) Byers.

Charlotte worked as an adjudicator for the Veteran’s Administration for over thirty years. She was a member of the Eastridge Presbyterian Church.

Family members include her husband, James; daughters Robin (Ken) Curry, Columbus, and Kelly (Mark) Sneed, Lincoln; son Jim Bourne, Jr., Lincoln; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother Richard (Kay) Byers; sister Linda Pappas (Gene Oglesby), all of Lincoln.

Preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Byers.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday (12-27-22) Eastridge Presbyterian Church, 1135 Eastridge Drive.

Visitation from noon – 6 p.m. Monday (12-26-22) with family present from 4-6 p.m. at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.

Service will be livestreamed on Eastridge Presbyterian Church website.

Masks are Strongly Encouraged but not required.
