Patricia Smith, 86, of Lincoln passed away February 20, 2018. Born May 25, 1931 to Alco and Pearl (Williams) Baker in Adams, NE and raised in Havelock. Graduated from Lincoln Northeast High. She married Robert Smith in 1948 in Lincoln where they lived their entire lives. Pat was a wonderful stay at home wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved watching her kids and grandkids play sports. She loved playing Bingo with her friends, a glass of red beer, Wednesday night family dinner nights, and sharing stories with her many great friends over several cups of coffee at Cook’s Cafe.
Patricia is survived by her children, Jim (Candice) Smith, Greg (Mary) Smith, Kristy (Jeff Arbon) Burke; brother, Larry Baker; sister in law, Sharon Baker; 7 grandchildren, Steve, Andy, Judd, Logan, Will, Shawn, and Aaron; 8 great-grandchildren, Paige, Alexa, Micha, Kennedy, Barrett, Kaylie, Ashly, and Wyatt; nieces and nephews, Missy, Lynette, John and Ron; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews, many other friends and loved ones. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Smith; grandson, Tony Burke; step-granddaughter, Jodie Bauer; and niece, Bettina Baker.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, February 26, 2018 at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Dr., Lincoln (40th & Yankee Hill Rd.).
A public visitation/viewing with family greeting friends will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018, from 6-8 p.m., at Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel.
Prior burial at Fairview Cemetery (84th & Adams St.) to be held at 9:30 a.m., Monday (2-26-18).
