Mark Holthus

April 28, 1967 - April 14, 2024

Mark Holthus, 56, of Lincoln, NE passed away April 14, 2024. Born April 28, 1967, in Lincoln, NE to Glenn Irwin and Betty Jane (Shriner) Holthus.

Mark worked as a forklift operator for Mapes, Midlands Recycling, and Super Saver. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church.

Family members include his fiancé Karen Nesladek, Lincoln, NE; sisters Pam (Pat) Collins, Lincoln, NE, Paula (Ted) Frick, Hutchinson, MN, and Robbin (Bill) Alex, Papillion, NE; nieces and nephews Aaron, Malachi, Justin, and Samantha.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service: 11:00 am Thursday, April 18, 2024, Zion Lutheran Church, 2244 NW 126th, Lincoln, NE. Burial in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Wednesday at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. I will always remember him taking Scooby for walks. His cheerful personality will surely be missed here. My deepest condolences to Karen and the rest of his family you’re in my thoughts and prayers

My favorite thing about Mark was he always made a joke out of everything you said. He had nick names for every one. He will be missed by all who knew him, take care Mark.
