Joan Eloise Elswick, 92, of Lincoln, passed away March 7, 2018. Born July 21, 1925 in Oakland, IA to Ray Herman and Rosina Faye (Putnam) James. Joan was a member of the Disciples of Christ Christian Church in Oakland, IA and was an avid bridge player.
Family members include her sons, James Ray Elswick, and Frederick Lewis (Nancy) Elswick, all of Lincoln; grandchildren, Joshua Elswick, Jacob Hoy-Elswick (Jill Elswick), Hannah Rottinghaus (Bret), Melissa Elswick and Jennifer Elswick; great-grandson, Rowan Elswick; nieces, nephews, cousins, and one sister-in-law. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Kenneth; sister, Shirley Lembke.
Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Monday (3-19-18) Carson Cemetery, Carson, IA.
