We were blessed to know Carla as a neighbor and friend. Her smile and laughter will never be forgotten. We sat out many Friday afternoons after work, had many garage sales and had celebrations on the 4th of July. Carla and Mariclare watched over our kids and our cat (no surprise). Some people just stay in your heart and Carla is one of them. We pray for comfort and peace for her family, especially Mariclare as you were so much two peas in a pod.

Carla was my best friend for 35 years! I am her sister and we lived together for 35 years. She got up every morning at 4:30 a.m. Off to work by 6:00a.m. She went to bed at 7:00 p.m. Obviously we met mostly on the weekends. She was so funny, she was my best friend ( doesn’t mean we did not argue a bit and there!!!!!) She was kind, helpful to her family and friends. She loved her kittens (Ms Milly and Mr Traveler, they still sleep on her bed wondering where she is) I will miss her very much!

I have worked with Carla for the past 18 years and I will always remember the banter between her and I. She was a very important part of the working lives of many to be sure and I’m sure the same is true with her private life. RIP, Carla…I will miss you.
