Bill had such a wicked humor, deadpan lines delivered with that lingering smile. Always enjoyed seeing him and his pals on the golf course. No irony in his life closing on the day of hearts and flowers. Will not be in town until day after his service, but will be thinking of him Saturday.

Over the years Bill and I golfed a lot. The competition was always spirited but fun and friendly. I always figured if I could beat Bill I would be in the money! The golf course will just not be the same without him. He will be missed. Very sorry for your loss.

Every time I saw Bill he had a smile on his face. Wonderful example of a husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed. I’m so sorry for your loss.
