To Julie and family, I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Steve, your beloved husband and my dear high school friend who was also my birthday twin. Steve was an amazing person who touched the lives of so many people, myself included. His kindness, generosity, and sense of humor will always be remembered. I will always cherish the memories of our high school days and the great times we had together working at the school and the college broomshop. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May the love and support of family and friends bring you comfort and solace as you navigate through the days ahead. Steve’s presence in this world will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on forever in our hearts.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve for nearly four decades. He was a perfectionist in many ways and taught me so much. He was like a brother. I will miss him.

Many four wheeling memories with Steve. We will all miss his smile, mechanical expertise, knowledge and advice. He was always willing to help everyone regardless. I will miss riding passenger throughout the Colorado trails.
