Born and raised in the village of Tarapur, India, he later resided in Lincoln, Nebraska. A man of deep humility and boundless generosity, Manubhai lived frugally yet fully, believing that true wealth was found in service to others. Alongside his beloved wife, Shantaba (who preceded him in death), he devoted his life to philanthropy—uplifting villages through the gift of education, clean water, and healthcare. Their contributions transformed schools in Tarapur, Budhej, Moraj, and beyond, and strengthened hospitals with modern laboratory equipment and sonography technology. His life was honored with tributes held across Anand District, a testament to the lives he touched.
He leaves behind a loving family of four children, nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom look forward to carry his values. Known for his warm smile, infectious joy, and love of family and friends, Manudada delighted in life’s simple pleasures—McDonald’s french fries, samosas, and bhajiya among them. May we honor his memory by living with kindness, giving generously, and walking humbly, just as he did. Jai Shree Krishna.
