Lona Faye Kehr, 81, of North Platte, NE died Monday (6-17-13) in Lincoln, NE. Born (6-12-32) in Kilgore, NE to Homer Nathan and Bessie Myrtle Goodin (Barnes) Hoffman. Homemaker. Life member of American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, Eagles Club, Outstanding Young Women of America and Altar Society.
Family members include her children, Janet Hart, Aurora,CO, Joyce (Bill) Majors, Vici, OK, Jerry (Carol) Kehr, Lincoln, NE, Jeanne (Ed) Reyes, Phoenix, AZ, Jill (Jim) Urban, Ellis, KS; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Hoffman, Aurora, CO, Joan (Gene) Carver, Crookston,NE; brother, James (Barb) Hoffman, Georgetown, TX.
Preceded in death by parents, husband Robert Kehr, brother Dick Hoffman.
Memorial Mass: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (6-22-13) St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nenzel, NE with Rev. Fr. Lou Nollette officiating. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
