Janis Neimanis, 85, Lincoln, died Sunday 11/24/13 in Lincoln. Janis was born 6/25/28 in Bauska, Latvia to Paulis and Emilija (Galis) Neimanis. He came to America with his wife and daughters from England in 1959. Janis worked at American Stores until 1984 and then the Lincoln Journal Star until he retired in 2003.
Family includes: wife, Vanda, Lincoln, NE; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Ann Neimanis and their son, Austin, Dexter, IA; daughter and son-in-law, Mara and Bill King, Lincoln, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lora.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday (11/27/13) at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 “O” St., Lincoln, NE.
Visitation one hour prior to service.
