Evelyn M. Hansen, 94, of Lincoln, died June 26, 2015. Born November 25, 1920 in Emporia, KS to William and Bertha (Dieker) Boes. Evelyn retired from Dorsey Laboratories as an executive secretary. Retirement years brought her much joy, spending time with family and friends, volunteering and traveling in their motor home to 49 states.
Family members include her husband of 69 years, Milford (Hans) Hansen, and four children, Gloria (Roger) Comstock of Gravois Mills, MO, Sandra (Alan) Keetle of Eagle, Linda (Gary) Hendrix of Lincoln and Gary (Janet) Hansen of Ethan, SD; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Irene) Boes of Wichita, KS. Preceded in death by parents; 5 sisters and 1 brother.
Vigil: 7:00 p.m. Sunday (6-28-15) Roper and Sons, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. Monday (6-29-15) St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine St. with Msgr. Lyle M. Johnson officiating. Private burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Waverly.
