Edward was a Fulfillment Media Manager with the Contact Lens Manufacturers Association. He was previously employed with the U.S. Postal Service and the Nebraska Lottery.
Edward is survived by his beloved life partner, Pamela B. Witham, of Lincoln; daughters & spouses, Coral (James) Muhammad, of Lincoln, Maghie (Stephanie) Jenkins, of Humble, Texas; aunt, Mrs. Charles “Toni” Venegar, of Lincoln; cousin, Francis L. Walker, of Lincoln; grandchildren, Domaneak, James, Khaleefa, Malaik, Farrakhan, Jihad, Samirah Muhammad; beloved extended family, Patrick Dumas, Damien Simmons and daughter Makayla, Elbert Smith, Richard and Charles Rodgers, Dr. David H. Mickey, Cory Mason, Kristen Witham, Nick and Jennifer Louderback & children, Jackson, Hanna & Tobin “Nitro”.
Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary Jenkins, brother John Jenkins, and grandfather Edward T. Smith.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday February 28th, 2012 at Lincoln Memorial Park. Meet at Gate 2. Oscar Harriott presiding. No visitation. Cremation.
