Darrell E. Nunn, 66, Lincoln, died Thursday (9-22-11). Born (3-24-45) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Everett and Ruth (Howell) Nunn. Xerox repairman. Member of Lincoln Area Street Rods. U.S. Navy Veteran from November 30, 1964 to November 18, 1966.
Family members include wife: Peggy; sons, daughters-in-law: Scott and Melissa Nunn; Chris and Heather Nunn, grandchildren: Jordan and Alex Nunn, Teren Nunn; sister: Mary Rinearson, Marion, IN; brother, sister-in-law: Roger and Yvonne Nunn, all of Lincoln, NE; 2 nieces, 1 nephews; step-children, spouses: Corey and Kim Root, Eagle. NE, Nik and Heather Root, Greenwood, NE, Charles and April Cover, Weeping Water, NE; step-grandchildren: Samantha, Kaylee, Calvin, Matthew, Savanna and Jacob. Preceded in death by parents
A Celebration of Life will be held at JJ’s Banquet Hall, 1st & Cornhusker beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2011.
