Darrel Melvin Lucas, 74, Lincoln, passed away January 31, 2017. Born 12-26-42 in Sabetha, Kansas to Lee and Frances (Hollinbaugh) Lucas. Retired from Brandt Excavating in 2010 after 19 years as a dump truck driver. Darrel enjoyed fishing, pick-up-trucks, Husker football, dancing, certs candy, The Weather Channel and farmall tractors and spending time with his family.
Family members include his wife, Nedra; sons, Ed (Gloria) Scott, Crete, Cody (Chelise) Scott, Seward; daughters, Glynis(Tom) Keeler, Lincoln, and Shani (Scott) Hladik, Cortland; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Friday (2-3-17) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Pastor Ray Norris. Burial in Fairview Cemetery to follow the service.
