We have many good memories of Dan during the days Mark and Chad played baseball together. Kathy and family, we extend our deepest sympathy to you.

I first met Dan in the summer of 1965 as we attended freshman orientation with our fathers. We were two lads from the farm looking for a career in mechanical engineering. Dan took this path much farther than I did. We were, however, college housemates for four years. I have always had the greatest respect for Dan’s academic and career accomplishments, and as a great human.
