He went to school in Lincoln, NE. Dan received support from DSN/CSN since 1993. He lived with his current housemates since 2007. Dan formed quality relationships with his housemates, staff at DSN/CSN, and CAN Vocational staff. Dan was assisted in making choices by his long time guardian. Dan enjoyed being outside and enjoying the weather. He also liked to go on rides in the community while listening to music. He was non-verbal, but staff and other’s he knew well understood what he was communicating. Dan enjoyed pasta and pop a lot during his life. He formed tons of quality relationships with previous and current staff, and I know he appreciated all their effort and support throughout his life. Dan had a way of cuddling up to staff supporting him when he wanted certain items that made your heart melt. He will definitely be missed by everyone that knew this unique and great person.
