Barbara (Davis) Stolzer Peterson

July 23, 1937 - February 12, 2015

Barbara Kay (Davis) Stolzer Peterson, age 77, of Lincoln, went home to her savior February 12, 2015.

Barbara was born on July 23rd, 1937 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Ervin and Mabel (Young) Davis and was their only child. She was united in marriage with Ralph Stolzer on September 15th, 1957 in Beatrice, Nebraska. Barb was dedicated to her family, church and her childrens’ schools while working at Norden Laboratories and Ken’s For Pens. Once her children were grown, Barbara met a new special friend, Lonnie Peterson. On October 19th, 1997, Barbara and Lonnie were married with their families by their side. They enjoyed building a house together, making it a home, and having that special someone to share their lives with again.

They enjoyed attending events of their grandchildren, travelogues, sporting events, and even a dance or two. After 23 years, Barbara retired from Ken’s For Pens when they closed their doors. She enjoyed being a Lied Center volunteer, bowling leagues, playing cards with the girls, taking care of her flowers, and all the special vacations Lonnie planned for the two of them together.

Family members include her husband, Lonnie; sons, Bill (Kim) Stolzer, Kurt Stolzer; daughters, Pamela (Jeff) Ogren, Karen Stolzer (John Seacrest), Jodi Hiskey, Terri (Robert) McWilliams; grandchildren, Tyler Ogren (Kessalee Lansbery), Kyle Ogren, Chris (Dillan) Durham, Michelle ( Evan) Andersen , Kelly Hiskey, Brian Hiskey, Julie Seacrest, Stephanie Seacrest; great-grandchildren, Hunter, AJ, and James; cousin Helen Eckholt; other close relatives, Norma (Stolzer) Carstens, Nick (Mary)Stolzer, Leonard (Patricia) Stolzer, Marilyn (Bruce) Schill, Larry Stolzer, Ray Stolzer and many nieces and nephews.
