Pauline Louise Seitz Felton Danforth

April 1, 1925 - July 28, 2023

Pauline Louise Seitz Felton Danforth, known affectionately as Polly, passed away on July 28, 2023, at 98 in Yorktown, Virginia. She was born on April 1, 1925, in Holly, Michigan, to Orville and Ethel Seitz. Polly had a sweet and loving personality and was deeply religious, finding solace in her faith throughout her life.

Polly attended Adelphian Academy in Holly, Michigan, where she completed her high school education. She embarked on a rewarding career, dedicating herself to her clerical work.

Polly was a devout member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she found comfort and spiritual fulfillment. Her faith played a significant role in her life, guiding her actions and providing her with strength.

In her free time, Polly enjoyed reading her Bible, finding inspiration and guidance within its pages. Her dedication to her faith was evident in every aspect of her life.

Polly is survived by her sister-in-law, Juanita Seitz, and her children: Sandy (Clint) Washam, Glenda (Grant) Griswold, Ron (Connie) Felton, and Charla (Jon) Cady. She is also survived by her step-children: Todd (Julia) Danforth and Debra Miller. Polly will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Kimberly Widicker, Tami Washam, Kent Downing, Seth (Brooke) Downing, Bridget Buddenberg (Tom Thornton), and Jason (Emily) Buddenberg, as well as her step-grandchildren: Zachary, Dustin, and Madelyn Miller, and Noraleen (Joe) Scott. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren: Alex, Sabrina, and Scarlett Buddenberg, a step-great-granddaughter Elvie Scott, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Polly was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Richard and Clifford Seitz, her husbands Charles Felton and Jack Danforth, her grandson Jay Washam, her great-grandbabies Camron Harlon and Morgan Jaymes, and her stepson Dan Danforth.

Her burial will be at College View Cemetery, located at 6900 Pioneers Blvd., Lincoln, Nebraska 68506. No services will be held. Loved ones are invited to visit her burial site at their leisure to honor Polly’s life and say their final goodbyes and celebrate Polly’s remarkable life.

Polly’s kind spirit, unwavering faith, and loving nature will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace until that great resurrection morning.
