Bixby Frederick Teeters, 73, Valparaiso, passed away August 20, 2018. Born January 6, 1945 in Lincoln, NE to Charles Maxwell and Julia Agnes Victoria (Waline) Teeters. Ret. 2008, after 40+ years as a field supervisor for Lincoln Electric System. Bixby enjoyed hunting, fishing, trap shooting and riding his motorcycle. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Family members include his wife Julie; daughter Georgia (James) Caraway, Lincoln; son Maxwell Teeters, Valparaiso; grandchildren Heidi Kroon and Branden Caraway; sisters Leota Hall, Lincoln and Sandy Hassebroek, Crocker, MO. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Charles and Benjamin, sisters Marie Bradford, Pauline Holland, LaDonna Kadavy, Jean Kohlman and Dixie Hurst.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday (8-24-18) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Burial in Fairview Cemetery.
