Bruce Edward Kopplin, 75, of Lincoln, passed away August 22, 2017. Born December 30, 1941, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to LaVern and Dorothy (Conroy) Kopplin. Retired after 20+ years as professor of geography at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Also, had taught at Nebraska Wesleyan University and was formerly the weatherman for KOLN TV.
Family members include his sister, Dianne Connor; niece and nephew, Melanie Johnson and Joe Connor, all of Webster, Wisconsin.
A Memorial service will be held from 3-7p.m. on Sunday, September 10, at the Zoo Bar, 136 N. 14th St. No visitation/cremation.
