Thomas G ”Papa Tom” Bowlin, 60, Bennet, NE died Wednesday, 4/02/14 in Lincoln, NE. Born 4/25/53 in Mt. Vernon, IL to William and
Anamae (Williams) Bowlin. He was the maintenance man at Hamlow Elementary in Waverly. Member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Eagle. Tom enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and photographing birds. Survived by: wife, Diane; daughter; Tammy Bowlin of Loveland, CO; son and fiance, Joe Bowlin and Heather Slaughter of Fairbury, NE; sister and brother-in-law, Becci & Steve Ehlers of Walton, NE; numerous nephews, nieces and a host of friends. Preceded in death by parents, Bill and Anamae and brother, Dan.
Funeral service, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, 4/5/14 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1009 G St., Eagle, NE. Visitation, Friday, 6-8 p.m. with family greeting friends during this time at Roper & Sons Funeral Services, 4300 “O” St., Lincoln, NE.
