Nadine K. Reckewey, 85, Lincoln, died Monday (5-16-11). Born (7-10-25) in Adams, Nebraska to John H.A. and Grace (Nieveen) Kroese. Ret. Curriculum Director, Division of Continuing Studies, University of Nebraska Lincoln. Member of First Presbyterian Church.
Family members include her children and spouses: Gayle and Jim Heckman, Highlands Ranch, CO, Kent and Kris Reckewey, Russell and Brenda Reckewey, all of Lincoln, Paul Reckewey, Edina, MN; grandchildren, spouse: Kyle and Stephanie Heckman, Joanna Heckman, Joel Reckewey, Jon Reckewey, Alison Reckewey, Sloane Reckewey, Marra Reckewey; sisters, brother-in-law: Opal Ehrlich, Sherryl and Jim Gillette, all of Lincoln. Preceded in death by husband, Rex; brothers, Herman Kroese and Keith Kroese; sister, Edna Gingery; daughter-in-law, Nancy Reckewey.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday (5-20-11) Christ’s Place Church, 1111 Old Cheney Rd. Private family interment.
