Marylouise G. Bookstrom, 91, of Lincoln, passed away January 30, 2015. Born June 25, 1923 in Lincoln, NE to Clarence C. and Fay L. (Scott) Goodwin. Ret. Reporter for Lincoln Journal Star. Member of First Presbyterian Church, Jr. League of Lincoln, and Lincoln Country Club. A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She loved her family, playing bridge, was an avid golfer, bowler, tennis player, and Husker fan.
Family members include her son, Eric G. “Ric” (Deb) Bookstrom, Lincoln; daughters, Saranne (Jerry) Renaud, Lincoln, Pamela (Richard) MacMillan, Paradise Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Erica (Ben) McRae, Alexa (Matt) O’Brien, Derek (Joy) Bookstrom, Ian and Scott MacMillan; great-grandchildren, Cade and Beckett McRae and Emma Bookstrom. Preceded in death by parents and husband Harold.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m. Tuesday (2-3-15) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
