I first met Margo when she drove the Vets Hospital bus for LTS. We became friends and kept in touch through the years. When I came to Lincoln on vacation in recent years we would go to Val’s for the buffet dinner. She had a wonderful sense of humor and truly loved animals. I will miss her and her friendship.

I had fun volunteering with Margo over the years with the Red Cross, Lincoln Amateur Radio Club, Southeast Nebraska Medical Reserve Corps, and Southeast Nebraska Community Emergency Response Team. She had lots of knowledge that she was willing to share with anyone that wanted to learn it.

Margo was the main person that saved my bacon the night of the Hallam tornado in May of 2004. Also a main driving reason for me getting my Ham Radio license later after the Hallam tornado. KD0DEU now is my call sign. Angel is her title to me now. Well deserved being my Hero. Rest in peace Angel. You will be well rewarded in heaven by God Thank you for your service Margo

Margo was a great friend and neighbor. I will miss her a lot! We spent a lot of our Friday nights having dinner together and watching TV. Playing with Reese and watching Daisy and Toby teasing Reese. I will miss our talks.
