Donna married Daniel Kahler on February 11, 1951. They were blessed with 4 children: Daniel, Deborah, Bradley, and Lisa. Donna was a stay-at-home mother for many years.
Family members include her children and spouses: Daniel Kahler, Lincoln, Deborah (Paul) Savidge, Lincoln, Bradley Kahler, Richmond, KY, Lisa (Dean) Preister, Lincoln; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers Jack (Carol) Hammock, Quincy, IL, E. Dean Hammock, Hannibal, MO, and Bill (Nancy) Hammock, Fond-Dulac, WI. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Daniel, brothers Curtis, Walter, J. Frank and sisters Clara, Ruby, Mary and Imogene.
Funeral service: 10:30 am Thursday, July 24, 2025, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 O Street followed by the committal service at 11:15 am at Wyuka Cemetery. A reception will be held at Roper and Sons following the committal service.
Visitation with family present will be from 4-6 pm Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel and one hour prior to service.
