Daisie E. Stone

September 14, 1935 - February 7, 2026

Daisie E. Stone, 90, from Lincoln, NE, passed away with family by her side on February 7, 2026.

Daisie was born on September 14, 1935 to Cecil Life Sr. and Beulah Life (McWilliams.) Daisie was the eldest of six children and grew up on a farm near Omaha, NE. In April of 1953, Daisie was united in marriage with Don Joseph Stone. They were married for 27 years and raised seven children prior to his passing in 1982.

For many decades, Daisie was a baker – from Mr. Donuts, Hinky Dinky, and Russ’s. Daisie was very hardworking and passionate about her skills. She could out fry and out bake the youngest of bakers. Daisie, finally, retired in 2020 at the age of 84.

Daisie is survived by six of her seven children – Donald (Aleta), David (Susan), Doug (Lillian), Lola, Laura, and Janet; 15 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Don, daughter Diana, and her sisters – Alma, Cecilia, Bobbie, and Theresa.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 11:00am, at Roper and Sons, 4300 O Street. A viewing, with family present, will begin two hours prior to service. Burial to follow service at Calvary Cemetery.
