Lila Jane Ohlson, 76, of Lincoln, passed away April 17, 2018. Born July 6, 1941 in York, NE to Nick O. and Goldie (Mierau) Friesen. Ret. secretary, Nebraska Book Co. Member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Lila was the founder of Lincoln Singles Dance Club. She loved to dance and travel.
Family members include her companion, Ed Shriver; daughters, Renee (Sean) Faden, Tamara (Paul) Schmeling, and Kristin Ott; sons, Terry (Cheri) Ott and Jason (Kelly) Ott; grandchildren, Ryan and Nolan Faden, Emily and Eric Schmeling, Lauren, Morgan, and Landon Ott; sister, Donna (Gary) Roller, niece and nephew, Jeffre Roller and Kendra McKee.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Monday (4-23-18) St. Mark’s United Methodist Church Chapel, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. with Pastor Kara Hillhouse officiating.
