Zanis “John” Cepurnieks, 65, of Lincoln, passed away on January 19, 2013. Born on January 18, 1948 in Germany. Worked at Goodyear for 30 years.
Preceded in death by his parents, Zanis and Natalija (Blums) Cepurnieks, Aunt Zenti Blums, brother Arnis Cepurnieks, two nephews Jason and Zanis. Survived by his wife Melody, son Shawn, stepsons, Ryan and Chad Cepurnieks of Lincoln; grandchildren, Jacob and Bethany Cepurnieks, step granddaughter Vanessa Williams and grandson Vincent Lowell and partner Monica, great granddaughter Lillyana Lowell; sister-in-law Rena Cepurnieks and nephew Tony of Florida.
Memorial Service: 12:30 pm Saturday, February 2, 2013 at The United Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3300 C Street with Pastor Vitauts Grinvalds officiating.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to the family for future designation.
