Yolanda Denise Wright was born Jan 6, 1957 in Memphis Tennessee to the union of Sonny Golden and Margie Dorsey.
She attended Illinois High School, Metro Tech College, and Southeast Community College. She earned her living as a Nursing Aid, Medication aid, cosmetologist and an awesome cook. She came to know Christ in her early 30’s. Yolanda has touched the lives of many. She had a loving heart and an open door policy to whomever was in need. On August 5, 2016 Yolanda Denise Wright went home to be with the Lord.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving sons; Derrick Golden (Linsey), Travis Golden, and her mother Margie Dorsey and father Sonny Golden, Brother Phillip Golden, 26 grandkids, special sister-in-law Shirley Green, special friends Alpo and Brenda Jones, and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, a host of God Kids, and many other relatives and friends.
