William J. Bailey, Jr., 81, Lincoln, died Sunday (1-25-09). Born (10-7-27) in Princeton, West Virginia to William J., Sr. and Virginia (Farley) Bailey. Ret. Wildlife Biologist, 40 yrs. and was Assistant Director for the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission for 22 of the 40 years. WWII Army Air Corp Veteran. Received his B.S. degree from West Virginia University and his M. S. degree from Penn State University. Member: Grace Lutheran Church; Wildlife Society; Sigma Xi fraternity; Ducks Unlimited; Pheasants Forever; NE Brittany Club.
Family members include wife: Dona J.Bailey; daughter: Pastor Julie Ann Bailey, Saginaw, MI; son, daughter-in-law: Gregory W. and Margo Bailey, Waverly; sister, brother-in-law: Janet L. and Sam Thurmer, Princeton, WV. Preceded in death by parents, brother – Richard B. Bailey.
