William Edward Daugherty, 87, Lincoln passed away March 25, 2020. Born June 30, 1932 in Shoals, IN to Willard Eugene and Georgia Mae (Howerton) Daugherty. William was an auto mechanic for many years. He served in the Korean War assuming the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of the Pleasant Dale American Legion Post.
Family members include his wife Beverly (Toland) Daugherty; daughters Julie Daugherty (Richard Lebsock), Louise (Tim) Green, and Narda Daugherty all of Lincoln; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice and Betty. Preceded in death by his parents; sons, Bill and Mike Daugherty; and daughter, Beth Fry.
Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2020. Roper and Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive, Lincoln, Nebraska.
