William E. Rolfsmeyer, 82, Lincoln, died Monday (7-19-10). Born (3-11-28) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Milton E. and Dora May (Carling) Rolfsmeyer. Ret. Stockbroker.
Served in the Air National Guard for 28 years. Member: Lions Club, Lincoln Country Club, One Eared Elephants Club, American Legion Club, UNL Alumni Association, Phi Delta Theta fraternity and the N Club.
Family members include wife of 60 years: Virginia “Ginny” Rolfsmeyer; daughters, son-in-law: Rory Copple, Lincoln, Billie and Ron Tietgen, Omaha; son, daughter-in-law: Eric and Kelli Rolfsmeyer, Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, spouses: Libby and Andrew Johnson, Emily Rolfsmeyer and Kate Rolfsmeyer, Keenan Copple and Phil Hanceford, Caitlin and Gabe Routzahn and son, Zeke, Zachary Copple, Lauren Tietgen and Jacob Tietgen. Preceded in death by parents, brother Bobby Rolfsmeyer, son-in-law Scott Copple.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday (7-31-10) First-Plymouth Congregational Church, 2000 ‘D’ Street. Rev. Dr. Jim Keck officiating.
