Family members include his wife of nearly 65 years, Verda; daughter Willa (James) Nipp, Whitehouse, TX; sons Matthew (Debra) Umland, Jansen, NE and Andrew (Jennifer) Umland, Clinton, MO; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters-in-law.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Larry and nephew Douglas.
Funeral Service to be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1009 G. Street, Eagle, NE, 68347. Rev. Scott Porath officiating. Burial Eagle Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln. The family will be present from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the Eagle Alumni Association
