William B. Lamson, 85, Lincoln, died Friday (2-20-09). Born (10-12-23) in Neligh, NE to ‘Tom’ and Fannie Lamson. Ret. from Weyerhauser Lumber Mill. WWII U. S. Navy Veteran. Avid gardener, loved canning.
Family members include sons, daughters-in-law: Mike and Pat Lamson, Sacramento, CA, Larry Lamson, California, Don and Dottie Lamson, Lincoln; daughters, son-in-law: Diane Gray, Billie and Rob Rohn, Jr., all of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, brother-in-law: Mary and Arnie Herley, Norfolk, NE, Hilda Jones, Washington State; nieces, nephews, cousins. Preceded in death by wife – Wanda Jeanne, son – Mark, 1 brother, 3 sisters.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (2-24-09) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street. Pastor Rusty Miller officiating.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to donor’s charity of choice. The family requests that those attending the service please dress in casual attire.
Visitation: 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday with family greeting friends from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., funeral home.
