Warren W. Hinrichs died Saturday (3/29/08) at 82. Born (6/2/25) to Henry and Martha (Luehring) Hinrichs in Linn, Kansas. Married to Evelyn for 56 years until her passing in 2006. Graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from UNL and did post-graduate work during his military career. Retired after a 35 year military career having attained the rank of Colonel. Civil Service, Administrative Assistant to the USP & FO, Traditional National Guard, Army Aviator. Member of Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1950 and American Legion Post #3.
Family members include: sons, daughters-in-law, Douglas Hinrichs, Glenwood Springs, CO., Roger and Bette Hinrichs, Lincoln, Scott and Wendi Hinrichs, Erie, CO., Steven and Sara Hinrichs, Massanutten, VA.; daughter, Rebecca Rosenberg, Glenwood Springs, CO.; granddaughters, Stacey Duey, Christy Brown, Rachel Rosenberg, Gabriel Hinrichs; grandson Owen Hinrichs; great-grandsons, Michael and Alexander Duey, Robert Brown; sister, brother-in-law, Rogene and Rolf Hellested, Monroeville, PA; Preceded in death by parents, wife, Evelyn.
