Warren F. Herr, 96, of Lincoln, died Sunday (12-15-13). Born (6-5-17) in Humboldt, NE to Gustav and Laura A. (Sandfort) Herr. U. S. Air Force Veteran. Ret. after 20 years with Whitehead Oil in Accounting. Member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church; American Legion Post #3; Lincoln Continental Barber Shop Chorus.
Family members include his son, Richard L. (Melvia) Herr; daughter, Kathy S. Herr, all of Lincoln; son, William J. (Elizabeth) Herr, Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Carrie, Brian, Scott and Jeffrey (Stephanie) Herr; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Alexa Herr; sisters, Luella Marsh, Omaha, NE, Frances (Mark) Berg, Springfield, MO. Preceded in death by parents, wife, Naomi, brothers, Raymond, Donald and Milton, sister, Ruth Boyd.
Prior committal service 9:00 am Wednesday (12-18-13) Lincoln Memorial Park. Please meet at Gate #2 followed by the memorial Service at 11:00 am at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. with Pastor Wayne Alloway officiating.
