Vernon L. Dopp, 93, of Lincoln, passed away 11/18/2016. Born 9/9/1923 in Eagle, NE to Herbert & Nellie (Standley) Dopp. Retired Maintenance with Canteen Vending. Member of Lincoln Berean Church and American Legion Post #3. Vernon was a Husker Athletics Fanatic.
Family members include: children, spouses: Terry Leroy and Shelley Dopp, Lenexa, KS, Debra Ann and Greg Horacek, Lincoln; grandchildren: Kevin Dopp, Laura (Greg) Perna, Joe Horacek, Stuart Horacek, Veronica Horacek; sister: Irma Gillispie, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents, wife, Donnamae, sister, Iona.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at Roper & Sons 4300 O Street; Pastor Bob Rice officiating. Interment to take place at Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra, NE.
