Vern F. Anderson, 91, of Lincoln, died Monday, June 25, 2012. Born July 23, 1920 in Havelock, Nebraska to Frank Verner and Mayme Marguerite (Sorensen) Anderson. Ret. Farmer/Mechanic/Machinery Dealer. Member: St. Luke United Methodist Church; Camp Creek Threshers, Grange, Community Blood Bank donor and voter polling worker.
Family members include sons: Floyd A. (Linda) Anderson, Johnson Lake, NE and Norman (Francine) Anderson, Columbia, MO; daughters: Rose Drew and Marilyn (Neal) Becker, all of Lincoln; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother: Glen (Bonnie) Anderson, Ceresco, NE; sister: Roma Voss, Litchfield, MN; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Grace, parents, brothers Phil and Harold Anderson, sister Eileen Robbins.
Graveside service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Lincoln Memorial Park, 6800 South 14th Street. Everyone please meet at gate #2.
Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1621 Superior Street. Rev. Dan Safarik officiating.
