Vera Jean Connell, 81, of Lincoln, passed away August 25, 2018. Born August 3, 1937 in O’Neill, NE to Clarence and Marie (Lorenz) Ernst. Former owner Connell Decorating and Draperies.
Family members include her husband of 62 years, Charles “Craig” Connell; daughter Deb (Dan) Lindstrom, Elkhorn, NE; son, Colonel Curtis (Cecilia) Connell, USAF, Retired, Driggs, ID; son David Connell, Lincoln; grandchildren, State Senator Brett (Leigh) Lindstrom, Omaha, Tyler Lindstrom, Chicago, IL, Morgan (Brent) Garrison, Sebastopol, CA, Nina (Brandon) Willert, Colorado Springs, CO, Natalie Connell, Jackson, WY, Seth Connell, Santa Clarita, CA; great-grandchildren, Colette, Barron, Olivia, Reagan, Lindye, Rutherford and Evelyn; sisters Gladys Searles and Vel Summers. Preceded in death by her parents; brother Jimmy.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday (8-30-2018) Indian Hills Community Church, 1000 S. 84th St with Pastor Aaron Nicholson officiating. Interment following in the Cheney Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services, at the church.
