Trinity Dorothy McDonald was born in suburban Chicago on June 21, 1996 and passed away in Lincoln on October 27, 2013. Her whole life she delighted and entertained her older brother and sister. Trinity discovered life at Sheridan Elementary, found her voice at Irving Middle School, cheered at Lincoln High, and experienced her dream school and faculty at Arts and Humanities.
She loved her friends and she loved making new friends. She wanted to make everyone feel noticed and valued. She wrote songs that touched the heart and sang with a voice that was transcendent. She made people laugh. She inspired people with her words, her songs, her art, her passion for life and love.
Family members include her parents, Rev. Dr. Andrew L. and Parrish McDonald; sister, Field McDonald; brother, Edison McDonald, all of Lincoln; grandmother, Sandy Rider, Bell Buckle, TN; uncles, Danny (Laura) Peck, Burns, TN, Larry McDonald, Orion, IL; cousins, Zachary, Connor and Katie Peck. in addition that she is survived also by her cousins, the Goodheart’s, the Petchul’s, the Bergquist’s and the Peck’s. Preceded in death by grandparents, Dorothy and Edwin McDonald and Daniel T. Peck.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday (11-1-13) Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2110 Sheridan Blvd. with Rev. Dr. Gene Fowler officiating. Burial of cremains will be in the Western Township Cemetery in Orion, Illinois.
