Thomas Curry, Sr.

Thomas Curry Sr, 85, of Lincoln, NE, passed away December 5, 2024. He was born May 24, 1939 to Jeff and Dovie (Berry) Curry Sr, in Brookside, AL.

Tom was retired from the Lincoln Telephone & Telegraph Company. He was a veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of Mt. Zion Church, Telephone Pioneers and C.W.A. Union.

Tom is survived by his wife, Pearl; sons, Thomas (Tammy) Curry Jr, Timothy Allen Curry, and Troy James Curry, all of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Tracey Michele Curry, of Waseca, MN; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brother, Quinton Curry, of Lincoln, NE; sisters, Linda Loubert, of Baltimore, MD and Esther Curry Marshall, of Omaha, NE; and sister-in-law, Mary Rogers, of Omaha, NE.

Preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.

Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am Friday, December 13, 2024 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3301 N. 56^th Street, Lincoln, NE.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm-5:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27^th Street, Lincoln, NE.

Burial at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.
