Stephen D. Kinnett, 63, Lincoln, died Wednesday (2-22-12). Born (1-13-49) in Lincoln, Nebraska to Clifford and Regene (Vrbka) Kinnett. Custodian at University of Nebraska Lincoln. Member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. An avid NASCAR fan. He loved to watch tv, work in the yard, spending time in the garage and camping.
Family members include his wife, Joan; sons, daughters-in-law, Ryan and Christina Kinnett, Lincoln, Derek and Aubrey Kinnett, Bennet; daughter, Stephanie; granddaughter, Riley; grandsons, Aden and Tyson; mother, Regene Beggs; brothers, Stuart, Mike, John and Mark; sister, Pat; many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sons Eric, Cory and Tyler, father, Clifford, stepfather, Lyle.
Rosary: 7:00 p.m. Monday (2-27-12) Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel, 10851 North 148th Street.
Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (2-28-12) St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6126 Morrill (07). Fr. Troy Schweiger, officiating. Family request those attending dress casually. Interment in Rosehill Cemetery, Waverly, NE.
