Senora (Nora) Doris Schnirl Pester, 92 of Lincoln NE passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012. Nora was born in Lincoln and resided in and at the outskirts of Lincoln her entire life. She spent many years as a farm wife west of Lincoln, and then co-owned and operated the Pester Airport east of Lincoln. After retirement, she lived at Autumn Wood until Dec 2006 when she moved to Clark Jeary Independent Living.
Nora is survived by two sons Lee (Jean) Pester of Denton and Roy Pester of Lincoln; daughter Lois (Louis) Van Ackern of Casa Grande AZ; seven grandchildren, LeRoy Pester of Denton, Larry (Cheryl) Pester of Fremont, Ronald Pester of Lincoln, Dan Pester of Denton, Sonya (Todd) Feneis of Loveland, CO, Cheryl Van Ackern (Rick Milinazzo) of Windsor CO, Gary (Tami) Van Ackern of Meridian, ID; and 6 great-grandchildren, Nate, Seth, and Monica Pester, Alyssa and Amanda Feneis, and Jentri Van Ackern. She is also survived by her sister Lora (Rolland) Knight of Las Vegas, NV, and brother Jim (Nila) Schnirl of Prescott Valley AZ, and sisters-in-law Donna Schnirl of Las Vegas NV and Mary Schnirl of Fremont.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents Max and Leona Schnirl, husband Boyd Pester, infant son Eddie Pester, grandson Lance Pester, brothers Ernie, Frank and John Schnirl, and sisters Phyllis Ripley and Lorene Wolfe Stahley.
A Memorial Service and celebration of Nora’s life will 11:00 am Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 “O” Street. Pastor Rusty Miller officiating. Private Prior Family interment.
