Sara Ann Welsh, 80, of Lincoln, passed away November 3, 2016. Born August 9, 1936 in North Bend, NE to Doran D. and Lena Eva (Dunham) Kirkman. Ret. Banking Mortgage Specialist. Member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Alpha Omicron Pi at UNL, Zeta Chapter, and P.E.O. International Sisterhood. Sara enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Family members include her daughter, Kimberlee Welsh Hise (Gregory), Vienna, VA; son, Kirk (Helen) Welsh, Highlands Ranch, CO; granddaughter Alexa; sister, Sue (Les) Roberts, Lincoln; brother in law, Jim (Diane) Welsh, Milford; special friend, her dog, Millie; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Preceded in death by parents and husband, Don.
Funeral Service: 12:30 p.m. Wednesday (11-9-16) St. Mark’s United Methodist Church Chapel, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. with Pastor Wayne Alloway officiating.
