Sandra “Sandy” L. Weyers, 77, of Lincoln passed away on May 1, 2021. Born January 18, 1944 to Max and Dorothy (Horton) Hansmire in Lincoln, NE. She worked at Goodyear and then Nebraska Book for 17 years. Sandy was a past volunteer First Responder for Waverly Rescue. She enjoyed gardening, games, her huskys and most of all her beloved family.
Survivors include, her loving husband, John; son, John Jay (Nancy) Weyers; daughter, Renae (Todd) Reed; grandchildren, Shalene Shepard, Ariel Weyers, Breannah (Nathan) Roth, TJ (Megan) Reed, Austin (Hayley) Reed; great grandchildren, Haileigh and Rylan Shepard, Madison Reed, Blakely and Brooks Reed. Preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday (5-6-21) at Roper & Sons South Lincoln Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive. A visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service time. Face coverings are required. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
