I was one of Sam’s teachers at Northeast. I have never met someone with such a great smile. If I ever had a day where I was struggling his smile would cheer me up right away. I have so many memories of Sam, but my favorite is how happy he was when music was playing, specifically Jon Batiste or Mariah Carey. Our program will not be the same without him, he brought me joy so many times throughout the last 2 years that I taught him. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

I worked with Sam (and his siblings) at Culler Middle School. Sam was a joy to work with and watch grow up in his middle school years.

Sparking eye’s and a smile that could melt you. Thank you for the long walks. And Thank you for letting me be part of your life for 3 years at Culler. You touched my heart like no other.

Oh sweet Sam. Your smile could make any frown turn upside down but those belly laughs warmed souls. We will certainly miss the low thigh waves “bye” and sharing a juice! With much love and sorrow in our hearts! Lavonne, Heather and Kim (health office at LNE)
