Ruth L. Rankin, 85, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Ret. Teacher at Union College. Member of College View Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survived by son, William Reid Rankin, Lincoln; daughters, Fauna Jeane (William) Dean, Tonganoxie, KS, Paula Renee (Blaine) Tompkin, Lincoln; 4 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter, sister, Verla (Roger) Stenbergh, Lincoln; 2 sister-in-law; numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents, husband William, 2 brothers, 1 great grandson.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Sunday (01-20-13) College View Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4801 Prescott Ave. with Pastor Terry Bock officiating. Burial in College View Cemetery.
