Ronald “Ron” E. Pierson

February 24, 1945 - November 14, 2025

Ronald Eugene Pierson, 80, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on November 14th, 2025.

Ron was born on February 24th, 1945 in Beatrice, Nebraska to Ray and Mary Pierson. He grew up in Rulo, Nebraska and later he and his family moved to Blair where he met his wife. Ron was also a member of the National Guard. Ron attended Peru State and graduated with a degree in Business, after graduation moved to Lincoln, Nebraska.

On August 27th, 1966, Ron married Ann, and together they lived in Peru until Ron graduated from college. After college graduation they moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. There they built a home and raised a loving family. They shared annual family trips to Minnesota. Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to their various sporting events.

Ron worked as the first Vice President of Human Resources for Security Mutual for 27 years and State of Nebraska Real Estate Commission for 23 years. He earned his FLMI for Security Mutual. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends by golfing, bowling, fishing, and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Pierson, and brothers Raymond and Richard Pierson.

Remaining to cherish Ron’s memory are his wife Ann Pierson; children, Jon (Nancy) Pierson, and Scott (Tonya) Pierson; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Pierson, Andrew Pierson, MacKenzie Grossman, and Shelby Pierson.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr., Lincoln, NE 68516.) A rosary will take place prior to the service at 3:00 p.m. A reception will take place following the service.

Memorials are designated to the family for future designation.
